Laura (Bird) Mae McGlothan was a kind and caring woman. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend. She was born to the late Hosea Brown, Sr and Margaret Brown both of Christian County on June 27, 1943. Realizing the need for spiritual and divine guidance she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church.Laura was a lady that was well-rounded and would give support to family and friends whenever needed. One brother preceded her in death.Laura leaves to cherrish her loving memory Six daughters:Rosita McGlothan-Hopkinsville, Ky; Maria Houghton-Frankfort, Ky; LeCythinia McGlothan-North Richland, Texas; Maya Meritt-Hopkinsville, Ky; Monike(Leroy) Love-Hopkinsville, Ky;Twanna McGlothan-Hopkinsville, Ky; One Son: Martin L. McGlothan-Hopkinsville, Ky; Two brothers: (Denise) Brown-Jeffersonville, IN; Bobby Brown-Hopkinsville, Ky; Ten Grandchildren, Four great grandchildren, Two Nephews, One great niece and One great nephew; Two devoted friends-Wilma Blaine and George V.Sholar III; and host of relatives and friends.
