Mr. Heron Floyd Jr Age 65 of Hopkinsville, Ky passed away on Friday August 5, 2022 at the VA Hospital of Nashville, TN. He was born on November 24, 1956 in Pontotoc, MS to the late Heron Floyd Sr and Oneida Eades Floyd . He is survived by his Spouse of 41 years Carolyn Floyd, two children Kelvin Brady (Tupelo, MS) and James Floyd (Samantha) North Fork, VA. Three sisters Jesteen (Anthony) Andrews, Josephine Brown (both from Tupelo, MS), Shirley Ruth (Cleveland) Williams (St. Cloud MN). Three brother Dewayne Floyd (Tupelo, MS), Harvey Floyd (Belden, MS), Ben Floyd (Gloria) (San Antonio, TX). Eight Grandchildren. Heron was loved by many family and friends. 

Visitation will be Saturday August 13, 2022 at Virginia Street Baptist Church Hopkinsville, Ky from 10:00AM to 1:00PM. Funeral service will follow starting at 1:00PM. Burial will be Monday August 15, 2022 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West Hopkinsville, Ky at 12 noon.
