Dorothy Michelle Lovelace was born on March 8th, 1967 in Christian County, KY to the late Nettie Louise Wilford and Richard Wilford. Early in life she accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined Saint John Baptist Church. Later in life she got re-baptized and joined Means Ave were she attended. Dorothy “Mammy” loved to cook and served as a giving vessel. While born and raised in Hopkinsville, KY she worked for Brookfield Manor, The Pantry, and Hucks. She retired from Western State Hospital. 
On February 17, 2023 she was called from labor to rest at Jennie Stuart Hospital. At the time of passing she was justshy of her 56th birthday. In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by her grandmother and SistersMartha Ann, Mary Ann, and Vanessa Faye Wilford. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her children:DeMarcus Wilford of Hopkinsville, KY, DeMaria Birch(Milargre) of South Boston, VA, DeMisha Wilford of Hopkinsville, KY, Lucas, Jackie, Christian, and John; Three brothers: Austin Wilford, James Wilford, and Richard Wilfordall from Evansville, IN.; Two sisters: Patricia Wilford and Jacqueline Dillard of Hopkinsville KY; Her devoted friendGenesis Bloomer of Hopkinsville KY; Best friends JohnathanMcCree and Che-Ree “Peppa “Kimbrough of Hopkinsville, KY; The first to call her “Mammy,” her oldest grandbaby Nicholes Cruitt Jr. and four other grandbabies along with a host of relatives and friends.
