Carlos “Los” Catlett Obituary

Carlos Catlett affectionately known as “Los” passed away on February 20, 2026. He was born on April 27, 1970. Carlos was baptized at a young age at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Hopkinsville, KY. He previously worked for the Veterans Administration, Nashville TN. He recently resided with his daughter and family in Clarksville, TN. Carlos loved dressing nicely and looking good. He deeply loved his family and friends, always greeting everyone with his bright smile.

Parents, Georgia "Cookie" Catlett and William Leavell Jr.;


Granddaughter, Melanie Merriweather; Adopted Parents, Elsie Greenwade and James Arthur Greenwade; Sister Georgia "Joyce" Dickerson; Brother, Phillip "Rawlow" Catlett; and Adopted Brother, James Harold Greenwade.


LEAVES TO MOURN -


Daughter, Allycia Merriweather (via Dinnetta "Carol" Merriweather) Clarksville TN; Son, Christopher Catlett (via Dana Oldham) Clarksville TN; Stepson (via Takiyah Swain) Gallatin TN; and a devoted special lady friend, Charlotte Mathews, Antioch TN.


In addition are his brothers and sisters Rosa "Rose" Lee Coleman, Patrick Catlett, Reginald "Slappy" Catlett, Jerome "Fuzzy" Catlett,


Angela "Angie" Pettus, Chris Catlett, Keith "Monkey' Catlett, L.G.


"Bumpy" Catlett, Daleana Quarles, Joyce Dean, and Shawnda Greenwade; 8 grandchildren, several loving nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.


Lastly, he leaves to mourn him his special long-term companion, his dog Bear.
